kiddify wants to nourish that natural state of curiosity, openness and creativity that all individuals are born with.
kiddify is a peer-to-peer video platform where children under 15 can share their skills and talents with each other around the world by creating their own video tutorials (how-to-videos).
Each video is then translated into different languages and categorised into the country of origin and by skill. Children can learn new skills through the videos, learn languages, feel empowered and ultimately learn about each other.
Our mandate is to offer children around the world the opportunity to nourish their skills and talents; to develop the skills that are critical to enable them to become productive, empathetic, culturally aware, digitally able and empowered
kiddify aims to feed children’s innate curiosity, and support the desire to share their knowledge. In doing so, we aim to create ripples of inspired learning and skill-sharing experiences from which all children can benefit.
Empowerment through sharing and connecting
We believe that education should be about unfolding ones potential. It is also something that is not held solely within the bounds of the classroom. Inspiration, innovation comes from everywhere, blossoming within ourselves and between each other. We learn from experience, looking to others for support and guidance as we build ourselves and, consequently, create our world.
As technology grows, so does our ability to connect. kiddify provides the stage for development and expansion by uniting the global community. The video platform gives children the opportunity to learn from other children while building confidence in their talents and skills.
When children see what their peers are capable of doing, they often feel inspired and feel that they can do the same (for better or for worse). The power of peer-inspiration can be powerfully positive, and this is what kiddify seeks to inspire..
